The Eglės sanatorium in Birštonas is a new medical spa centre with a residential complex. More than forty different treatments and additional services are on offer here to ease the process of rehabilitation and cure.
The medical spa at Eglės sanatorium has a long tradition of therapy and is now a therapeutic and rehabilitation centre with health care facilities using mineral water and therapeutic mud, dedicated therapeutic and diagnostic premises, and a mineral water pump-room. The Eglės sanatorium medical spa is open all year round and has more than 100 different kinds of massage, and restorative mineral water, therapeutic black and white mud, and kinesitherapeutic, physiotherapeutic and psychotherapeutic treatments in its health care facilities.
The modern double and single rooms and suites can accommodate up to 320 guests at any one time and there are also facilities for the disabled and specially equipped rooms.The focus at the centre has traditionally been on therapeutic and rehabilitation treatments.In the coming few years the Eglės sanatorium medical spa will expand to up to 700 residential and treatment places, with its own treatment centre using mineral water and mud from surrounding areas.
