Legends of Tallinn walking tourFavorites
Medieval Tallinn not only has one of the best preserved old towns in the whole of Europe, but is also an exciting city steeped in ancient legends and stories, some of which you will hear during our twohour walking tour.
The Dome Cathedral on Toompea Hill is well known, but few know that Pontus de la Gardie, the Regent of the Swedish King John III is buried there. Or the legend of the knight who wanders the streets of Tallinn, or of how the Danes got their flag, the Danneborg, in our city.
Then there is the strange tale of the mummified count, the top attraction of the city in 19th century when it was put on display like Snow White in a glass casket in St Nicholas church.
