Summer day trips

The guided wilderness experience day-trip combines bog-shoeing and canoeing. First you will walk through the forest and reach the largest peat-bog in Estonia at Kuresoo. Here you can wear bogshoes and walk on the wild landscape, followed by lunch in the wilderness. The trip ends with a relaxing canoe trip along the meandering rivers of Soomaa.

Meet: Guided summer day trips start at 10 a.m. in Soomaa National Park. A transfer is also available for clients who are staying in Pärnu, with pick-up from the hotel at 9 a.m.

What to bring: You should wear comfortable clothes and footwear.
Departure / season: every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from May to September
Group size: Minimum 2 people

Summer night trips

Night Safaris in the warm and white summer nights offer something exotic. Things seem different in the dark, not everything can be seen or heard, some things can only be imagined. Night trips are led by experienced local guides. The guided programme includes a two-hour walk to the peat-bog and a three-hour beaver-watching trip by canoe on the river.

Meet: Guided night trips start at 7 p.m. in Soomaa National Park, if you come with your own car.
A transfer is also available for clients who are staying in Pärnu, with pick-up from the hotel at 6 p.m.
